The breakfast buffet was delightful with an impressive variety of dishes to choose from. The comfortable room boasted a king-sized bed, spacious shower, and stunning views. Conveniently located near the Gateway Theatre of Shopping and the promenade, it's a perfect spot for those who enjoy being close to the action.

Long elevator waits.

You can't beat the fresh seafood in the area! Make sure to hit Butcher Block and CaneCutters for a taste sensation. The hotel's staff might be polite, and the rooms are clean and neat—things we appreciate when staying away from home.

On the flip side, the door at room 921 needed some attention and didn't close properly, and breakfast got cold way too fast! It's the little things you miss when they've been put on the back burner.

Elevator rides could be improved

The rooms are spacious, well-cleaned, and afford a comfortable stay with excellent linen. Breakfast buffet was diverse and refined, making mornings delightful.

Unfortunately, the elevator experience was quite chaotic, with a long wait and a rather alarming incident where it appeared stuck. housekeeping interruptions were unwelcome.

All fine, but maintenance issues

the staff was friendly in all interactions but elevators felt slow.

The sea-facing room enhanced our stay, offering stunning ocean views. A thoughtful birthday platter awaited, with homemade sausages at breakfast that were deliciously memorable. parking was a challenge and the restaurant was occasionally crowded, making dining times longer than expected. while the bar staff were friendly, service could be inconsistent at peak times.

Great stay with a lovely vibe

I enjoyed my stay a lot! Awesome service at check-in, and my room was spacious with a really nice shower. The bar was cool for a chill after-conference drink. Only thing was the parking situation. it was kinda tricky to navigate. Still, my overall experience was super positive!

We loved how close the hotel is to the Gateway Theatre of Shopping, making it easy for my family to explore. Plus, the reception area looked modern and welcoming. I also enjoyed the beautiful view of umhlanga's beachline during our stay.

For dads, it would be great if the rooms had children’s channels available to keep the kids entertained.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the lovely minimalist room with strong water pressure and the fabulous lamb curry I had for dinner. The spa offered some great relaxation options like a full body massage and a nice sun terrace to unwind on. Only downside was the parking fee, but honestly, it didn’t ruin my experience at all! 😊

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend jaunt
